A Wordless Wednesday Photo
My Friday Friend
Last Friday temperatures were setting records in the low 70’s. The next morning snow arrived, so I made one last warm weather hike before overdue cold temps settled in for the season. This little chippy thought the same thing and made good use of its last day out. I’m sure it’s not seen daylight since.
# 3 in my waterfall hikes this year gives a touch of fall Magic, Dailypost weekly Photo Challenge.
Do you see the facial profile looking at this fly? Warm weather has lingered this year extending the life of creatures. I took this shot a couple of weeks ago when I was supposed to be finishing the garden clean up.
Water Falling #1 captured from one of this year’s fall hikes. This small shelf is found below Dundee Falls, a local hike at the Beach City Wildlife Area.
I captured this emerging sunflower in early August. It is slightly cropped. I chose to go Black and White to emphasize texture and contrast. I edit in Picasa.
