The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters;
The wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook. Proverbs 18:4
Sunday Scene
Silent Sunday
Does the rain have a father?
Who fathers the drops of dew?
From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens
when the waters become hard as stone,
when the surface of the deep is frozen?
“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
wisdom and power are his.
21 He changes times and seasons;
he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning.
22 He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him.

A Growing Curtain
A local waterfall, which I’ve featured before, offered some nice intimate winter ice-scapes a few days ago. It was Old Christmas, meaning I got a day off since the Amish students I works with observe it as a holiday. This early winter frozen flow might be a solid curtain of ice by now. I’ll need to return soon I think. Until then, Enjoy these sculptures of the frozen flow.
