“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. 21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. 22 He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior,4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
Looking back over a year of photos is the thrill of the capture and the agony of delete. Each week, photos are culled, choices made and posted. Thinning the selection even more poses quite a challenge. I thought this year I’d chose an even 2 dozen. This year I decided to enter 3 photo exhibitions and stretch myself and my skill. Four ribbons graced my photos so my eye and craft is improving. But for these I put some of the technical aside and held on to some of my own emotion attachments and just chose my favorites.
Enjoy! Happy New Year! Wondering what we’ll be capturing together in a new year.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
