Library Partners

The WordPress weekly Photo Challenge has us looking for photos that express We’ve had two of our grandchildren in for a week and part of our fun was to go to our local library. My wife partnered up to play with the educational toys in the children’s section. Our local libraries make great community partners for a variety of ways. Books, research, education, project planning and self improvement. And that just opens the first chapter on these local resources.

From the Wild Garden

The wild garden edges transitions into to its summer display. Mostly, my hikes have me taking photos in holes of the forest canopy, woodland edges and prairie islands. Each season established its own beauty and its own display of light. I’ve found that dappled sunshine and deep shadows will make photos of interest. Enjoy springs end and summers beginning.

Sunday Scene – Living Hope

Christ in You, the Hope of Glory

Christ in You, the Hope of Glory

 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.  Therefore encourage one another with these words.

As Surely as the Spring Rains

Knock Out Rose

Sunday Scene

Let us acknowledge the Lord;
    let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
    he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
    like the spring rains that water the earth.
