Friday Fritillary

I snapped these Silver-Bordered Fritillaries at the beginning and end of a recent days end hike. Changing sunlight and windy conditions created some different looks.

From the Wild Garden

The wild garden edges transitions into to its summer display. Mostly, my hikes have me taking photos in holes of the forest canopy, woodland edges and prairie islands. Each season established its own beauty and its own display of light. I’ve found that dappled sunshine and deep shadows will make photos of interest. Enjoy springs end and summers beginning.

A Friday Fly-In

Its hummin outside with all things that fly. Here are a few that flew into my viewfinder this week. Summer fun is just beginning.
