Coltsfoot

Wildflower Friday

An early Spring wildflower, I see it along many roadsides and woodland edges. At first glance it may be passed off as a bunch of dandelions. If your a lawn purist its a weed. If your an native purist its invasive. If your into homeopathic remedies it a herb. If you like flowers it has beauty.

CFFC – Pink & Magenta (and fluttering flowers too)

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week continues the flower theme with the colors pink and magenta. As I looked back to last summers flower photos, it seems that pink  attraced a great deal of interest from butterflies and bees. So, a bonus comes with my entry this week.

Nov, 2015

Last Sunday i found a bloom in a warm spot that evaded the morning frost. a return trip a couple of days later found these buds nipped, fooled by a sun spot. Six months ago I found these spring wildflowers, something to look forward to six months from now.

A Floral Friday Now and Then

I was fortunate enough to find this Yarrow (I think) flowering last weekend. A nice find for Mid November. Below, six months ago, (or six months from now) I was learning how to use my new camera and was experimenting with this Cinquefoil. Enjoy the flowers and have a wonderful Friday. God Bless.1-DSC_00211-DSC_0001

Floral Friday – Lace Fit for a Queen

Lace Fit for a QueenI’ve been no-tech for a few days, so no post. But I have taken quite a few photos on a mini vacation into Michigan. I’ll share in  future post.

Before heading out, I took a short photo hike looking for a spider that blends into Queen Ann’s Lace. I used to enjoy finding these with campers on nature hikes,

I found no spiders, but did play with the back light of a cloudy sky. I hope you enjoy the results. Than you for checking out my late entry for floral Friday.
