I read that they see in color, however they found that out
The natural tone of this picture would have been a sepia, so I’m guessing color would not be of too much help here. And how would they know?

Without movement this little mother, I’m quite certain there is a nest nearby, would be tough to spot. She does not stray too far from her cover of thorns .
Yes, I believe the hawk zooms in on movement. As long as the little bunny sits still, he’ll be fine. How did you manage to capture these wonderful photos without spooking him?
I stayed on the trail and did not move closer, but I shot from three different angle and it did not so much as twitch.
She was hoping, “maybe he doesn’t see me, maybe he doesn’t see me…” 🙂
