This Rails to Trail path cuts through a wetland and many of the old poles are well below grade. I’m addicted to seeking new looks at what’s been left behind.
That could be. They’d have to worth more than the trouble. These poles are in a swamp, maybe that’s why they linger. They do add some historical context this old spur line.
Great. Shot. Very evocative. I grew up in the rural midwest, these insulators lined the roads of my childhood. I thought them ugly BUT they usually meant I was going somewhere, perhaps to play with cousins?!
Somehow, stately.
