The last sunrise of 2016. Unremarkable, as most days are. But we designate an end which simply becomes a new beginning. From my Year’s day hike, I post a photo of an immature Red Headed Woodpecker. Chasing after birds with a camera is a new challenge and this bird is a young one. It seems to be an appropriate choice to start the new year.
How fortunate we are to share nature’s bounty as we begin another new year. All the best to you in 2017!
Beautiful. Looks a little bit cold, though. You did a great job with the photos.
Nothing ordinary here! Best to you in 2017.
🙂 may your new year be a blessed one
Really nice capture. I don’t get to see many redheaded woodpeckers, so it’s always an exciting occasion.
I don’t see many. The last was two years ago at a state park campground with my grandson, then 6. Now he thinks we can just go out and see one anytime! It made quite and impression upon him.
