This Yellow Warbler gave me a pleasant surprise a a recent hike. With out a tripod or vibration reduction I can only hope good technique will produce a respectable shot. A storm was rolling in and darkness setting in; so despite it all, I felt pretty good about these two shots. A beginning of sorts
Those are amazing shots!
Thank you!
Small but immensely beautiful! 🙂
Lit up a stormy sky!
Such a cute bird!! Well done!
Thank you!
Lovely bird, the Yellow Warbler (Setophaga petechia). It’s so yellow! It looks like a yellow bird that we have here in Europe, a male of Serin (Serinus serinus).
So we are each blessed on our continents:)
What lovely birds. We have Townsend Warblers in winter, but not these bright yellow beauties!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been blessed with warbler just dropping in…a real treat!
These are wonderful photos of such a delightful bird.
Thank you!
I’ve heard them down by the river – but have yet to spy one!
I wish I could hear them! Most bird songs are beyond my auditory range
I’m sorry to hear that…my spouse misses them, too. Makes me cherish the gift all the more while I can.
Great photos! A yellow warbler always brightens the day, especially with their singing.
Lovely! We have number of warblers zipping around our house, but as of yet I’ve been unable to get a good photo of them. They are so small and so quick! There is one tree by a window they where they like to take refuge. I’ve taken to leaving that window open so they can sing me songs in the morning!
I enjoy the blog. I”m looking forward to seeing more!
So true, This was a dream shot for me, I don’t do to much wildlife since I usually on the move and not patient enough. Thanks for joining in on the fun.
What a beauty!
One of my hobbies is bird watching. I haven’t managed to get many good pictures. One of these days I need to get a new camera and take some time for wildlife photography! Love all of your pictures.
