I’m tempted to say that I’m embarrassed that I never knew what a “peeper” looked like, as I’ve been enjoying their song for decades. It’s a sound that is so familiar, emotion evoking and resonates with my spirit. It heralds spring’s arrival and brings me back to the soothing, natural setting of my childhood. To me they’ve always been a mystery in the dark of spring nights. Now I can put a “face” to them! Although, I don’t think their visage will ever replace the mystery in the dark…
Wonderful revelation! Thanks OH!

I’ve never seen one so green! Mine are usually brown.
It surprised me to see it clinging on the gray siding. I’ve seen the brown ones too.
He doesn’t look real! I love the photo.
Maybe it’s the siding? It’s real 🙂
I saw a white on at my son’s house a couple of weeks ago.
